Sara Bosshard designs and develops knitwear, textiles and costumes.
After completing her studies in textile design at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts, Sara Bosshard designed high-end knitwear collections for internationally acclaimed Iris von Arnim, based in Hamburg, Germany. After relocating to Switzerland, she took on the role of product manager at FTC Cashmere where she was responsible for the womenswear collections.
From 2016 until 2018, Bosshard was an integral part of the research group Products & Textiles at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts assisting projects with a special focus in innovative textile technologies and sustainable apparel development.
Currently, Sara Bosshard is an independent textile and costume designer working on projects in fashion, theatre, dance and film. She works and lives in Zürich.
